内容简介：Archaeological research considers the first and second centuries AD to be the period in which the Roman Empire experienced its greatest economic, military and technological development. This also includes the introduction and minting of a standardized coinage in the metals gold, silver and bronze. While research to date is focused on the economic and financial effects of the enormous circulation of money in the Roman Empire, which covered over 5 million square kilometers, this lecture will address the issues of resource management and the environmental impact of the vast metal production.

作者简介：德国图宾根大学钱币系主任、讲师、学术顾问，策展人，主要研究希腊罗马世界货币考古学、博物馆研究、数字人文、科技考古等。主编有罗马考古学、罗马货币文化史等著作。
