| 英文摘要: | “Confusion of the compass and loss of the rudders (zhenmi duoshi)" is a common phrase found in ancient Chinese navigation manuals．It describes what often happened to ship that strayed off the safe route and went close to particular areas full of treacherous reefs and islands，which，in turn，contributed to abnormal ocean currents．Not only would the vessel lose its way in the maze，but its rudder could hitsubmerged reefs and suffer damage. | ||||||
